Product Overview

Foldable LED Bar Grow Light Series – 1200W / 1500W

The frame opens to 2400 × 1100 mm, which is a long-bed format rather than a square one. That shape suits rooms laid out in rows, where a single fixture spans two beds. The 1500W model shares its housing family with a 1200W version, so the two are interchangeable on the same mounting grid.

Diodes are LM281B in white, blue, red and infrared — there is no warm white channel in the recipe, which makes the spectrum visibly cooler than the mixed-white fixtures in the same category. Luminous efficacy is rated at 120 lm/W, lower than the 160 lm/W bars, so the same delivered light needs more input power. Net weight is 23 kg and the housing is IP54.

Dimming is a knob on the fixture. If the room is going to be run from a central controller, budget for a different driver option or plan manual adjustment per fixture. Check the hanging point spacing against the 2400 mm length: the frame is long enough that three suspension points are safer than two.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Practical questions about this grow light — specifications, customization, samples and ordering.

Is the 1500W version a different fixture from the 1200W, or the same one driven harder?
It is the same 2400 x 1100 mm bar format offered in two power levels, 1500W and 1200W. Everything else on this page - 110-277V input, IP54 sealing, knob dimming and the Samsung LM281B diode set - is shared, so a room can mix both wattages without stocking two sets of mounting hardware.
How large a canopy does a 2400 mm bar actually cover?
2400 x 1100 mm is the fixture footprint, so a single unit spans roughly 2.4 m of bench or aisle width. In practice these are hung in rows down the length of a room rather than side by side, which is why the 1500W and 1200W share the same body: the row spacing does the coverage work, not the fixture width.
Indoor growing lighting
What is the spectrum, and why does it include IR?
Full-spectrum white plus blue, IR and red. The white and blue channels run vegetative growth, red carries flowering, and the IR content is included for the far-red response that affects stretch and flowering timing. It is a general-purpose commercial spectrum rather than a crop-specific recipe.
How heavy is it, and what does that mean for my ceiling structure?
23 kg net per fixture. That is light enough for standard greenhouse truss and grow-room ceiling grid when hung from the supplied points, but it is a 2.4 m span, so hangers should be rated for the load plus the pull of a tensioned cable. It folds, so moving units between rooms does not require a crate.
Does the knob dimmer let me run different zones at different intensities?
Yes, because dimming is per fixture rather than central. A room can run one row at full output over mature plants and a second row dimmed over freshly transplanted stock, with no controller wiring between them.
Will it cope with a humid greenhouse, or is it an indoor-only fixture?
IP54 and an aluminium body make it usable in both, and it is most often sold into commercial indoor rooms and greenhouses. In a greenhouse the fixture is a supplemental top light working with daylight rather than a sole source, so dimming during bright hours matters more than raw output.
What certifications come with the 1500W and 1200W builds?
The build on this page carries CE. If your market needs ETL for North America instead, the same bar platform is available in an ETL-listed version - tell us the destination market when you request the quotation and we will match the certification to it.
