Greenhouse Top Grow Light Series – 400W / 800W / 1200W

This fixture scales by head count rather than by driver size: one head is 400W, two heads 800W, three heads 1200W, all on the same 6063 aluminium body with IP65 sealing. A greenhouse can therefore specify one body type across zones and choose head count per bay.

Photometrically the 1200W build is rated 3960 µmol/s at 3.3 µmol/J. The 400W and 800W builds carry their own, lower output and are quoted per tier. A PPFD map at 30, 45 and 60 cm gives peaks of 650, 708 and 717 µmol/m²/s respectively; those are close-range bench measurements at the stated heights rather than greenhouse mounting figures.

Control is PLC, which suits integration with a climate computer rather than a standalone knob. Net weight is 10 kg and input is 220 V. The model is configured by head count — one head at 400W, two at 800W, three at 1200W — so the head configuration, not a wattage label, is the ordering reference.

How is the 400W, 800W and 1200W range built?

As one, two and three-head versions of the same fixture - 400W is a single head, 800W is two heads and 1200W is three. That is why the model is sold by head count rather than as three unrelated products: the heads are identical and the output scales with how many are fitted.

What is the published PPF?

3960 µmol/s at 3.3 µmol/J, quoted for the 1200W three-head build. The figures are stated with their wattage because a single-head 400W unit does not deliver the same output, and we do not present a three-head number as if it applied to the whole family.

What PPE does it quote?

Up to 3.3 µmol/J. The 'up to' matters: it is the best-case figure for the fixture, not a guaranteed value at every operating point, so treat it as a ceiling when you are comparing vendors.

What coverage and mounting height were tested?

A 5x5 ft (150cm) grow tent, with PPFD work at 30cm (12in), 45cm (18in) and 60cm (24in). Those are the heights the supplier tested at, so they are the sensible starting points - final hanging height should be set against your own meter readings.

Which diodes are used?

Sanan Optoelectronics. It is a Chinese diode supplier rather than a Korean or Japanese brand, which is part of why this build sits at a lower price point than the Samsung-based fixtures in the range - worth knowing if your customer specifies diode origin.

What voltage and certification does it carry?

220V input and CE-EMC. The EMC-only scope means the certification covers electromagnetic compatibility; if your project needs a full safety listing for North America, this build is not the right one.

Is this suitable for a commercial greenhouse?

It is a top light aimed at greenhouse and indoor top-lighting use. Overall dimensions and service life are not part of the published specification for this model, so they are not shown here; a written specification comes with the quotation before a large order is placed.
