This bar is built for the lowest zone of the crop. The lifting bracket sets it at a fixed height above the medium, and the 1142 mm body spreads light along the row rather than concentrating it in one spot. At 2.8 kg it can be carried and repositioned by one person between cycles.

The diode count is modest at 336 Samsung LM281B, and output is 8547 lm — deliberately lower than the intercanopy bars, because under-canopy light is meant to support the lower leaves without pushing the fixture into a heat or humidity problem at the base of the plant. The declared spectrum is 660 nm red, 6500K white and 730 nm infrared.

Control is a knob dimmer with series dimming, so several bars can be adjusted together on one loop. Housing is plastic-clad aluminium, IP65, with a 0.98 power factor. What is the difference between the 120W and 150W builds?

The model AD3T-UC120-6D284-120 is sold as 120W and 150W. Both are the same 2.8 kg IP65 body with Samsung LM281B diodes and knob plus cascade dimming; the wattage difference is in the driver loading rather than the housing.

What does cascade dimming mean in a canopy installation?

Fixtures are wired in series so one dimming signal runs down the row. In a canopy that is the difference between walking the aisle to adjust every unit and setting a whole row from one point - which is why cascade dimming is common on intercanopy products and rare on top lights.
