Propagation & Rack Grow Light Series – 100W / 300W / 400W

This is a single 1045 mm bar intended for the layer above a propagation tray or shelf. The slim aluminium body and 3 kg weight keep the load off lightweight racking, and the IP54 rating is adequate for misted propagation areas as long as the bar is not directly sprayed.

Output is 14,946 lm from 281B diodes, with a spectrum of white, warm white, blue, red and infrared — broader than a blue-only propagation recipe, so the same bar can carry a crop from germination into early vegetative without a fixture change. This listing is the single-bar base of a family that also covers 300W and 400W multi-bar builds.

Dimming is a knob on the fixture, with a 3K temperature rise and a 30,000 hour rated life. Photometric output is published as 250 µmol/s at 2.5 µmol/J, which is the figure to use for photon-based planning. Certification is CE, quoted with certificate reference NTC-SC2409006.

What PPF does the 100W bar deliver?

250 µmol/s across 380-780nm at 2.5 µmol/J. The 380-780nm span covers the full PAR band plus the near-UV edge, which is relevant for propagation work where the blue and UV-A end affects compactness.

How many bars do I need per rack tier?

One bar covers roughly 4ft x 1ft at 100W; the 300W and 400W builds cover 4ft x 2ft. Bar quantity options are 1, 3 or 4 bars, so a four-tier rack with a 4x1ft footprint takes one 100W bar per tier.

Propagation lighting

How long is the bar?

1045 mm, in a 1045 x 55 mm profile. That length is chosen to span a standard 4 ft rack width with the housing sitting between the shelf uprights rather than under them.

What spectrum is used for propagation?

Full-spectrum white from 3000K and 6500K, plus 660nm red, 460nm blue and 730nm far-red. The blue share keeps transplants compact and the white content lets you judge leaf colour, which matters when staff are scouting for deficiency.

How are multiple tiers controlled?

Knob dimming for local adjustment, 0-10V for external control and an RJ14 series port so tiers can be linked. That combination is what lets one controller schedule four tiers with different intensities for cuttings, rooted clones and hardened-off plants.

IP54 on a propagation rack - is that enough?

IP54 covers splash and condensation from misting and domes. Propagation benches are misted from above rather than hosed, so IP54 is normally sufficient - but keep the bar out of the direct spray line from nozzles.

Can the bar length be changed for a non-standard rack?

Yes. Bar length, bar count, wattage and spectrum are all configurable, and the 1045 mm profile is one point on that range. Give us the rack width and upright spacing and we will propose a length rather than asking you to adapt the rack.
